Cabbage and Sausage Soup

INGREDIENTS


1 round of farmer sausage, (local is always the best) Cut into bite sized pieces 

1 medium head of cabbage, sliced into small cube size pieces

3 cups of organic beef broth

3 cups of water

2 medium sized leeks

1 medium onion

2 large cloves of garlic

Chives to sprinkle on top

Salt and pepper to taste.


INSTRUCTIONS


Add all ingredients into a large pot, bring to a boil, turn to low and cook over low heat for 4 hours. 

 

Note: I have also put all the ingredients into a crock pot on low for 8 hours.
