Raw Fermented Coconut Yogurt



INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cans of full fat organic coconut milk

  • 2 probiotic caps (any multi strain probiotic)

  • 1 tsp of pure vanilla extract

  • Optional: Can add 1 tbsp cocoa + or 2 tbsp of maple syrup 

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Empty the can of coconut milk into a glass bowl and whisk until smooth. 

  2. Add vanilla + break open the two capsules of probiotic and sprinkle over coconut milk.

  3. Add cocoa if desired.

  4. Whisk together gently until smooth

  5. Pour into large mason jars ( 2 quart jars )

  6. Cover with cheese cloth or abeego wax covers and place in a warm environment for 24 hours. 

  7. You know its fermenting when you see a release of bubbles and it will have a slight sour taste.

  8. Add maple syrup if desired.

  9. Refrigerate for up to 10 days.
